How Satellite Internet Works
In a nutshell, your smart device sends a signal request through your modem to your satellite dish and then up to our orbiting satellite, which, in turn, sends a signal to us. We then transmit the signal back to the satellite, to your dish, your modem, and finally, your smart device. All of this happens in less than half of a second!
